The Scenic Beauty of Bangladesh

The Beautiful Bangladesh

I love my country more. When I look at the beauty of my mother land than I thank God a lot for my birth in such a heavenly land. It is characterized by natural varieties and dynamism. Villages filled with a plenty of flora and fauna. At the autumn, trees are covered with green leaves and sweet voiced cuckoo sings all the time. Rivers become poured with water during rainy season when water indicates its expanse. Then the village seems like islands. The fields in Bangladesh are filled with green gold which embraces eyes with joy and harmony. Our hilly regions are mostly tribal areas and are bearing. The witnesses of our natural gravity. Even may vacant look in unable to describe the uncountable blessings of god in our nature.

Dear Visitor, you are cordially invited to visit our country and learn about us.

Cox’s Bazar is Second Largest Tourism Center in World

The Cox’s Bazar of the Chittagong division is a famous seashore tourism center in the world. The Meghna of the Bandarban district is said to be the second largest tourism centre. Though the initiative of making the tourism centre more beautiful and develop has been taken, as a supporting means of these tourism centers the planning of constructing new bridge over the Karnaphuli river and widening and modernising the roads has not yet been taken. Tourists taking the risk of life have to travel over the age-old Kalurghat Bridge. It is seen many times that Chittagong bound big buses have been waiting for hours at the time of running the train on that bridge.

Grameen Bank : Microfinance institutions and economic growth in Bangladesh_ D. Mohammad Yunus

Grameen Bank Building in Dhaka

It is easy to be optimistic about many aspects of Bangladesh. The efforts of the Grameen Bank and other micro finance institutions at a wide variety of developments efforts have brought both pride and international fame: the spectacular success of garments industry has shown the potential for exports and the entrepreneurial capacities of Bangladeshi people. There was even a ranking by a British survey in 2000 witch found the to the Bangladeshis to be the happiest people in the world and yet, it does no take long for any conversation with Bangladeshis to turn to the topic of migration. Why there is incessant desire to leave? The poor has always been willing to try for food and shelter elsewhere. There is simple way to characterize the complex social income- the lake of hope for the future. Hope is a property of the long run. When we look into the distant future and see ourselves in a desirable situation, it sweetens all the toils of today. What is that generates hope? Religion, philosophy, culture, politics and economics are all the mix. I want to say a few words on the long run prospects for economic growth in Bangladesh.

So far many institutions have no job. Not the short-term growth only, long-term issues should be addressed with greater importance. If the long-term economic growth is brought within the medium term growth, it will bring welfare to all. The analytical requirements of pro-people economic growth must be fulfilled.
